Indian restaurants in Dubai

Weekends were getting to be a boring one. So was browsing for something new..

After reading this I was so excited to have the best Indian food in Dubai. Then, on every Friday night, we were in some new restaurants experimenting. Had food from Ashiana, Angan, Bombay, Calicut paragon, Delhi Durbar, Gazebo and Khana khazana.

Aangan was really good. The ambience and the food were very good. I'm not a music person. So I just can't comment on it. I just saw many people congratulating the musicians.

Delhi Durbar was really different form all other hotels. A great ambience was not there. But the food was very tasty. We had to wait for a long time (approx 30 - 45 mts) to get a free table.

From all these, Ashiana disappointed me. The food from Aangan, Gazebo and Khana khazana was so tasty. So I expected a better food from Ashiana. Not just that the food was not that tasty, not worth the priceand the quantity was insufficient, but, we ended up in paying 38 AED for a bottle of water. And the restaurant guy opened 2 bottles.My Indian mind calculated the dirhams in rupees and found out that nearly 1000 rupees was spent for two1 litre bottles of water. Grr...
